November 8 2011 - "Sweet White Lies" Now Available + Sydney Church Show. August 17 2011 - Boyce Avenue Tour. We're proud to announce that Mark has been invited to open for Boyce Avenue on 3 of their 4 shows when they come over from the US to tour nationally next week.  Boyce Avenue are a massive DIY success story, building up an enormous fanbase worldwide by posting videos on YouTube which so far have received over 340 million plays!  Check out the gigs page for show details.

April 28 2011 - Residencies in Sydney & Newcastle. We're pleased to announce that Mark will be undertaking two residencies starting July.  Each Wednesday he'll take to the stage of Lizotte's Newcastle, and each Thursday at El Rocco in Sydney's Kings Cross.  They're both fantastic, intimate venues, and we've had a great time doing residencies in the past, so we hope as many of you can make it along and share the evenings with us.  Check out the gigs page for details.

April 20 2011 - Supporting Imogen Harper. Our good friend Imogen Harper will be launching her debut EP next month at The Vanguard and has asked Mark to open for her on the night. January 25 2011 - Album Release & Tour. We're excited to announce that the new album "Truth Came Running" is finished and will be available on stores from March 4, with launch shows around the country through March and April.  Dates are currently being announced, so keep checking the gigs page to see when we'll be in your area.

January 7 2011 - All I Ever Wanted On Sale. The first single All I Ever Wanted off Mark's forthcoming album is now on sale.  It can be ordered through the mail or off iTunes - just visit the online store for details.  Also check out the video page to see special behind the scenes footage of the making of the film clip.

August 3 2010 - More Support Shows. Mark's been invited to hit the road with Shannon Noll, well known runner-up from the first Australian Idol.  He'll also be opening for Sydney stalwarts My Future Lies at their album launch later this month.  Visit Mark's MySpace for all the details.

July 7 2010 - Final Final Raval Show. While we said Mark's last Raval show would be the last, we had such a great time and with Mark's next tour not looking to start till September, we've decided to throw on another one.  It'll be on Friday, July 30 with tickets on sale very soon.  Check out the gigs page for details.

July 6 2010 - World Expo Shanghai. Mark is off to China next week as an Australian representative, performing at the World Expo in Shanghai.  The Expo is a huge affair, with the Australian Pavilion alone receiving 40,000 visitors a day.  Mark is proud to be a part of the delegation, and if you happen to be in Shanghai from July 13-19 make sure you drop in and check out the show.  Check out Mark's MySpace for details.

June 30 2010 - Ian Moss, Jon Stevens, and Dragon. We're pleased to announce that Mark's been invited to perform over the coming months with "Aussie" legends Ian Moss, Jon Stevens, and Dragon.  There's 5 shows with Mossy, 4 with Jon, and just the one with Dragon.  Check out Mark's MySpace for details.

Persian Basement Show. We've had a few people express concern over the date clash with the Persian Basement launch - rest assured we're on top of it and will be playing both.and the Bolton show in Canberra. We've lined up some great support acts in Saving Grace and Sunday Waits for the Persian Basement and would love to see you all there for the launch of this fantastic new venue.

 

Michael Bolton Tour. Mark has been invited on tour with Grammy award winning vocalist Michael Bolton.  It'll be another great opportunity to play in front of some huge audiences at some of the country's finest theatre venues.  The shows are in capital cities later in May, just check out the gigs page for the specifics.

New Album. Mark's been hard at work in the studio recording the new album with Sean Carey.  It's been fantastic working with Sean, best known as a member of Thirsty Merc.  We're really pleased with the way things have been coming together, and hope to give everyone a listen as soon as it's all ready to go.

Venue Grand Opening. We're proud to announce that Mark has been asked to be the inaugural performer at Sydney's newest venue, The Persian Basement.  The show is on Friday, May 21 and should be a cracker, so please check out the gigs page for more info.

Happy New Year. Well, another year is behind us, and we hope you all capped it off with a fantastic Christmas holiday season.  2009 was a great year on our end with plenty of touring, meeting many new people around the country and further abroad, and we've capped it off with some new recordings which we look forward to sharing with you in 2010.

Another Sydney Residency. Thanks to everyone who came week after week to Mark's shows at the Supper Club in June and July - Tuesday nights have honestly never been so much fun for us.  We've decided to do it again in October on November, this time on weekends, at a great new city venue called Ravel.  Visit the gigs page for more details and to book tickets...

Another Central Coast Show. We were so blown away to see a full room at Mark's first Lozotte's headline show so we've decided to do it all again on Jan 28 next year.  It's going to be a special night in a fantastic venue, so check out the details on the gigs page and book your table today...

A Year of YouTube. For the next 52 weeks we will be posting a fresh live YouTube recording of an original track in what we're calling "A Year of YouTube".  So if you feel like it, please drop by Mark's YouTube channel and have a watch and a listen.  There will be a new song each week so hopefully there will be plenty of songs you have never heard.

Sydney Residency. To kick off the new relationship with Harbour, Mark will be making the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown his home.  With shows every Wednesday in June and a special preview launch on April 15 make sure you come along.  Check out the gigs page for more details and stay tuned for some upcoming incentive programs...

Easter In The Capital. Over the Easter long weekend Mark will be in Canberra performing at the National Folk Festival.  Each day you'll be able to find Mark on the blackboard stages, so if you can't find him in your schedules don't be too concerned.

Harbour Welcome. We have some exciting news about the latest member of Team Wilko – The Harbour Agency.  Harbour is Australia’s biggest booking agency, representing the very best of our nation’s talent.  It is also a part of Michael Gudinski’s Mushroom Group, which has long been a cornerstone of the Australian music industry.  We’re really happy about forging this new relationship, and look forward to working with Harbour to take Mark and his music to the next level and beyond.  We hope you’ll all come along for the ride too!

Tour de Force. Mark was invited by Forces Entertainment, a fantastic initiative within the Australian Defence Force, to spend a week in the Solomon Islands entertaining deployed troops.  It was a fantastic week away, learning about the local culture and the problems they've faced, meeting many of the exemplary soldiers stationed there from Aus, NZ, and other Pacific nations, seeing some wonderful sights, and of course meeting some fantastic locals.

Sydney and Melbourne Shows. Kicking off March, Mark finds himself returing to his two favourite east coast venues, headlining The Basement in Sydney and Manchester Lane in Melbourne with some great support acts.  Check out the gigs page for more info...

Illawarra Folk Festival. January saw Mark performing at his first ever Illawarra Folk Festival.  The crowds were great, and it was great to see audiences grow as the days wore on, so thanks to everyone who came down!

APRA PDA Finalist. Mark has been named as a finalist for a coveted Professional Development Award from APRA.

Return to Europe. Mark returns to Europe to showcase at one of the world's biggest music trade fairs, PopKomm.  Taking place in Berlin, Mark will be performing alongside some other fantastic Australians such as Clare Bowditch and Sarah McLeod.

Live on Nova 96.9.  Mark has been invited into Nova 96.9 to play live to air on Thursday, Sep 18.  Tune in from 10am!

Finalist in NA2R! Keep Fighting and Counting Down The Hours, two tracks from Mark's next release, have put Mark through to the finals of Commercial Radio Australia's New Artists 2 Radio competition, and the chance to share in $150,000 worth of radio airplay and advertising. To check out one of the tracks visit www.myspace.com/newartists2radio.

Recording in London! Mark has begun recording with acclaimed producer Iestyn Polson, a man responsible for the likes of David Gray's White Ladder and other #1 hits.

International Tour! Exciting times are ahead as Mark jets across to Europe in July. Tour dates being finalised as you read this, but already early bookings for gigs in the UK (Manchester & London), Dublin in Ireland and Barcelona (Spain) have been confirmed, with further dates being added that may also take Mark to France and Greece.
